awesome Dan! i transcribed about 3/4 about 3 years ago, some fingerings differ from mine (i tried to copy pat’s, not easy 😉 excellent job man, thanks! lets keep warming up! 😉
Hey, friend, do you have the Tenderly George Benson version transcription? Tks
Hi, I haven’t got that one. As it’s rubato it would be a nightmare to notate. When I worked on the intro I just slowed it down to translate it into the guitar.
Dude you deserve a medal for this Metheny transcription! Thank you !
No probs, I haven’t looked at it since I spent weeks on it 🙂
Dan, did you tune the low e string down on that my foolish heart? Have you a transcription too?
Thanks! Fabulous site I hope you enjoy the recordings on mine.
Hi Jay, thanks for the comments! Yes the low E is in fact down to A, something that Jazzers like Tal Farlow have experimented with. After I worked it out I found a handwritten transcription on the ‘When Blue Turns To Gold’ site. I’ll check out your site too.
Can you point me to that page? I couldn’t find it. (blue to gold site)
Thanks in advance,
